The Texas Bankers Foundation Announce the 2022 Cornerstone & LiFE Award Winners

(AUSTIN) – The Texas Bankers Foundation, the charitable arm of the Texas Bankers Association, proudly announces the 16 recipients of the 2022 Cornerstone and Leader in Financial Education (LiFE) Awards. Each of the banks selected have demonstrated excellence in community involvement or have promoted financial education in their communities.

“These awards celebrate the banks and bankers who have made a commitment to be cornerstones in their communities and who are dedicated leaders in promoting financial education,” said Chris Furlow, president & CEO of the Texas Bankers Association. “Those recognized this year have had a significant impact on their communities and we are honored to congratulate them on their efforts.”

This year’s NINE winning Cornerstone projects include:

  • Texas Capital Bank, N.A.

This year’s TWO LiFE Individual Recognition Award go to:

  • Courtney Taylor, Veritex Community Bank
  • Ralph Thompson, North Dallas Bank & Trust

The seventeen recipients will be celebrated at the Texas Bankers Association’s 137th Annual Convention in Round Rock during a special awards luncheon.
