Truth in Texas Banking

The Veritex Bank culture embodies community spirit. We do more than provide financial backing for growing businesses. Our team rolls up their sleeves and takes the time to participate in the lives of our neighbors.

From volunteering at food pantries, to teaching financial literacy programs or donating supplies to create goodie bags for cancer patients, our team leads with their hearts. We strive to make a social impact because it's the right thing to do for our fellow Texans.

To be mindful about our community also means to be thoughtful on our legacy. Whether it's the legacy of the banking industry or the legacy of the environment, our intention is to make things better for the future. The Executive team has made great strides to increase diversity in our leadership, invest in college banking programs and ensure the summer internship programs are truly providing a memorable experience.

Our goal in Texas banking is being both a leader and a servant. We listen to our community, we participate and we reflect the word that defines us, TRUTH.

Future Bankers Leadership Program

Women in business program

In January 2007, Veritex Bank created a community outreach program to provide a peer network for professional women in the Lakewood area. In 2008, Veritex added a Park Cities/North Dallas program. In October 2021, we launched the WIB program in the Greater Houston area with the goal to continue connecting with women-owned businesses and expanding the network of community leaders. There is no cost to join, as Veritex Community Bank underwrites these programs as part of its service to the community.
