WORLD SERIES CHAMPION PITCHER, RYAN PRESSLY, TEAMS UP WITH TEXAS BANK FOR FINANCIAL LITERACY
Veritex Community Bank and Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas Meet at the Mound for a Pressley Strikeout Donation Program
Houston, Texas – Veritex Community Bank, (www.veritexbank.com), one of the 10 largest banks headquartered in Texas, will team up with World Series Champion pitcher Ryan Pressly for a season long strikeout promotion benefitting Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas and its financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and work readiness programs.
For every strikeout Pressly throws throughout the 2023 MLB regular season, Veritex Community Bank will donate $100 to Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas, an organization dedicated to helping the youth of Texas develop the foundational skills and mindset needed to prepare for the future. In addition, the right-hander will match Veritex Bank’s donations, a commitment he is eager to meet this season.

Through this fun and engaging strikeout promotion, Pressly and Veritex Community Bank will fund financial literacy programs for thousands of Houstonians. The Houston Astros regular season begins March 30 and runs through October 1.
